When stone comes to life

Ch芒teau de la S么ne is built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Is猫re on its right bank. Originally, an oppidum of the Allobroges Gauls stood here, succeeded by a fortified house mentioned in 1210 in the letters patent of Emperor Otto IV of the Holy Roman Empire.
